Planum advised Future Schools Partners onthe refinancing of NZ Schools 2 for ~$290m NZD. Future Schools Partners isowned by International Public Partnerships (INPP) and is managed by AmberInfrastructure.
The refinancing was undertaken togetherwith Auckland Prison to generate combined benefits. Both refinancings includeda small regear which were the first undertaken in the New Zealand market.
Planum’s role included:
- Developing the refinancing strategy, including pursuing a regear
- Running a competitive process including 20+ banks to generate maximum competitive tension and liquidity for the assets
- Updating the model
- Leading the State consent and documentation process
